    That message does not give you much to go by. You might try to create the
    directory that it uses ahead of time and give it full control for
    administrators and system. There are a couple of tools that may help from
    Sysinternals called filemon and regmon. Run filemon first just before you
    try to do the application and close it as soon as install fails and look in
    it's log for denied access entries that would describe a file or folder that
    you need to change permissions on. Do the same with regmon. The whole
    process will be kind of trial and error to track down possible permission
    problems. Also look in Event Viewer for any clues and enable auditing of
    object access and privilege use [via security policy] - both for failure
    while you are trying to troubleshoot and check the security log for any
    failures in either that may be helpful. --- Steve
