Hi Jacob,

SUS client is provided in Windows 2000 SP3 or Windows XP SP1 or newer
operating system. If you have Windows 2000 SP3 you can use SUS to deploy
critical patches, and e.g. SP4 just like you can use SUS to deploy Windows
XP SP2.

If you don't have Windows 2000 SP3 and Windows XP SP1, you can first
download and deploy Automatic Updates client. You can download it from here:
Automatic Updates June 2002

How did you configure your clients?

Since you don't have Active Directory you will have to edit or import
registry settings to your clients. To make things a little easier, you can
e.g. configure one station and export the registry settings. Now all you
have to do is import these settings to your other computers...
