    No, multiple instances should not cause the problem as they are not deny
    access.

    If you can run a test on the folder. Give specific user that has problems
    accessing file read permission on the folder and try again.

    You could also run "Effective Permissions" on folder. Right click on the
    folder -> Properties -> Security -> Advanced -> Effective permissions tab.
    Enter username that has problems accessing files and see if it has any
    permissions on the folder.
