    Yes, I did transfer all roles before attempting to run DEPROMO to demote the
    server.

    The objective is to change the server names so that the new server has the
    name of the old server. My plan was to demote and rename the old server and
    promote it and then demote, rename the new server and then promote it. There
    are only two servers and the objective is to retire the old server.
