You did fine, Boaz, as the newsgroup to which you have posted
is intended to handle all versions, even though it was established
primarily to provide a location for the new Windows 2003 version.
I am not sure how active you would find the old NT4 newsgroups.

What you first need to determine is whether that/those folder(s)
is/are available over the network and if so, whether this should
be so. If others are supposed to access those folders from their
machines, then determine what they should be able to do, i.e read,
and/or write. Try separating things they only need to read, and
set its share permissions so they only have Read granted. This
will reduce the amount that must be shared for Write access.

Remember, if they are granted Write then you are opening the
share to their ability to (knowingly or not, perhaps via infection)
delete what is shared that way.

You will find permissions button on the sharing tab in the properties
of the folder that is shared. Also in the properties, if you are using
NTFS for the filesystem, you will find a security tab within which
you can alter grants made allowing access to the items.
Tighten things to grant what is needed, not more, and this can help
    you in reducing "accidents".
