Trusts between Two Server

    I hope on the correct newsgroup!
    I have two server in two different forest having different domains also.
    Both the servers have Windows 2003 Server

    Server 1 is the authentication server for the organization, where as server
    2 serves as the purpose of the Mail Server having Exchnage 2003.

    Since they are in different forest, the trust that will be created between
    them would be an external trust. But this trust does not hold good the
    moment the servers are shutdown. We have to create the trust relationship
    everytime the servers have to be shutdown.
