Jack,
Well "normally" one would assume that the profiles folder is on a share
somewhare so that the path for the profile would be something like
\\server\profile\%username% (%username% gets expanded to match the
login name of the user).
What access rights to the d:\profiles folder does you user have?
Secondly, the login script would "normally" be held in the NETLOGON
share of the server (c:\windows\sysvol\sysvol\<domain>\scripts)
I'd expect you to simply have logon.bat entered in the appropriate
dialog.
