My organization is a non-profit foundation. The mission of the
organization is to provide healthcare education to women. Because we
sponsor events across the U.S., our information systems must support a
mobile staff.
My I.T. consultant is suggesting that we put the Microsoft 2003
Security Update Server in place to push out security patches/updates
to the mobile staff's laptops and to admin user desktop systems.
The quote includes used Pentium II system, the Windows 2003 server
software (we qualify for MS charity pricing), and the labor to install
and configure the new server.
My question - approximately how long does it take to perform the labor
associated with the project above? I've been given an estimate of 25
- 30 hours. Does that sound reasonable?
If there is other information I need to provide that would allow my
question to be answered, please let me know.
