    Folders and the files contained in them each have separate
    NTFS permissions. So, it is possible for the account to have
    sufficient permissions on the folder, on some files, but not
    on some files. Those denied files might have different NTFS
    permissions.
    At the folder you could use the checkbox in the security dialog
    in the folder's properties which says to apply the permissions
    onto all substructure's files and subfolders. This will propogate
    permissions even onto files where inheritance was broke and
    the NTFS permissions differ.
    If after such a change there is still an access denied message,
    then one of a few other things might be happening, like file in
    use etc..
