We recently installed a 32bit application (Wyldfyre 6) for Real Estate on a
member server running Win2k (Application Mode) SP4

It runs fine in if your an administrator - but general (as in domain) users
get this message:

"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000022)"

In the event viewer it is showing as event id 26

If I add the domain users to the local administrators group - it works.

As the program is installed in 'c:\MLS' - I have changed the NTFS
permissions for EVERYONE to FULL - still no luck.

I have been reading hours - try many things but I have failed..

I tried using the tool APPSEC - but no luck either.

I tried changing the Terminal Server Mode to NT4 Compatible - no luck.

There must be a way around this - as I do not wish to add the domain users
in the LOCAL ADMINISTRATORS group on the member because of one application
(i'm sure you understand).

It's 6am - I've got to get some sleep before I have to deal with the boss...

Is there a superman out there? Can you save me?

Peter
