We have a W2K server acting as a DC on the network. I have just
installed a 2003 server to the network (this server is not acting as a
Domain Controller).
After copying accross data from the 2000 server (DC), I tried to add
security groups to the relevant directories.
When I enter the first two letters of an object and select "Check
Names", I just get the option to add users and not groups (i.e.
Administrator is available, Administrators is not). These options are
available if adding security to directories/files on the DC.
The 2003 server is part of the domain.
If I use the "dsquery group" from a command prompt on the 2003 server,
the groups are listed.
Help. Anyone got any ideas?
