hi - I have checked and cannot see anything that would deny the Administrator access to those 2 log files (other domain admin accounts can access them)

Under DC Security Policy the defaults have not been changed. Also the only restrictions that appear are restrictions on guest accounts

I have also checked my account against the main Administrator Account. Settings appear the same yet with my personal account I can view the Application and System logs.

Could you possibly point me in another direction for something else to check?

thanks
