Hi,
We use ghost as a deployement method for our workstation and we did not have
problem on a NT4 domain with Win2K file share for the ghost image.
To deploy the images we used a bootdisk or a PXE boot with a lan man 2.x and
command such as "net logon", "net use" and then I use a script and voila,
that's done.
I set up a lab with a 2003 domain (1 DC ) and I put the images on this
server, shared the folder, set up an account, and when I boot with my
bootdisk, I can logon, "command completed successfully", but I can't map the
share, I keep having "Error 5 : Access Denied".
I checked and everything is set to everyone = Full Control...
Why "net logon" works and not "net use"?
(I know it should work since an Altiris tech, the pxe software maker, told
me there was a registry tweak for that, but the tech did not remember what
it was...)
Thanks in advance.
Christophe.
