Hello all, I have an issue that I hope someone might have the answer to. I have a windows 2003 webserver which is hosting a website that looks to a directory for certain content. This directory by default is inheriting permissions for the root directory. I have removed the inheritancy and choosen to copy then editing the permissions and applying to all child objects within this directory. This all works fine and no differect then it does with win2k. Now the interesting part is that without any warning or even restarting the server content becomes unavailable from the site that is located within this directory. When you go back and look at the permissions on this directory the permissions are reset back to inheriting from the root and all previous changes have been removed. Anyone have any idea if this is something known to windows 2003 server or if there is another approach I can take to correcting this problem i would appreciate it. Regards, Roger
