I would look at a firewall/VPN solution versus your Linksys solution.
My personal recommendation would be the Netscreen 5XT
(http://www.netscreen.com). It is about $500, supports up to 10 users and
VPN tunnels. Pardon the promo for Netscreen but during my eval of
Netscreen, Cisco PIX and Checkpoint I was able to successfully penetrate the
Checkpoint and DDoS the PIX. The Netscreen is better than the PIX in
shunting DDoS attacks while still giving user access.
The Netscreen 5 family supports routing protocols and is fairly easy to
configure via CLI or GUI.
Good luck with what ever decision you make.
