ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY DISREGARD *ANY* EMAIL FROM MICROSOFT THAT HAS AN
ATTACHMENT!!!!
I do not care how believable the email is--- it is not from Microsoft and
very likely is a vehicle to infect your system with a very nasty virus!
Microsoft NEVER sends email with attachments. They have a link right on
their homepage about this viral exploit of MS customers:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/antivirus/authenticate_mail.asp
DO NOT open or save the attachment (although, if you save it, chances are
your virus scanner will detect the fact that it is a virus), and do not
forward it to all your friends.
And, for godsakes, stop distributing it via the newgroups, it's disgusting.
