Since this is mutlihomed, that can contribute to part of the problem if the
NIC binding order is not configured correctly. Let's try to set this correct
(if it's not) to see if it helps.

Go into Network and Dialup Connections, Adv menu, Adv Settings, and make
sure the internal NIC is at the top of the binding order. Then in both NIC
properties, make sure that it only points to the internal DNS server only
(no ISP's here please). Set this true also for your internal clients to only
use the internal DNS server. (Other problems may develop otherwise).

Set a forwarder for efficient Internet resolution.

See if that helped for now and post back if not or otherwise.
