Windows is made to lock your account, it does not
just do it for fun. You need to determine what is
making Windows do that. People sometimes have
persistent shares, tasks, etc. which have cached a
password that got out of sync when the account's
password was changed. The failed login attempts
that result cause Windows to lock the account.

There is a lockout toolset from Microsoft, but it is
really something that the administrator would have
to use. Evidently the administrator has given you
no information from the login failure event messages
such as from what machine(s) the failing login attempts
originate?
