Rick.
What type of server certificates. If they are domain controller
certificates, they will automatically renew.

Brian
these are for an intranet website
thanks
Rick
Web server certificates must be manually renewed. If the certificate has
expired, a new certificate must be requested, as the renewal process
requires a time valid certificate.

Brian,
is there a KB article on how to do this process?
thanks
Rick
The process for renewing is very well outlined. Here is one of the links I
found by searching on "IIS renew certificate"
http://www.geocerts.com/products/csr/MS_IIS_renew.php
Basically, same thing that you did to request a certificate, except that
this time you choose to renew the certificate. This allows the wizard to
re-use the name information in the previous certificate, rather than typing
it again. But, if the certificate has expired, you must remove the current
certificate, and then enroll a new one.
If you are using other types of Web servers, you need to read their docs,
to see how to renew a certificate
