Smart Card with one certificate but dialog for user selection always appears

Hi,

I'm working on windows 2000 SP4 stations. All my users have aladdin
eToken (smart card) with one certificate acquire from the CA.
On the IE settings I enabled the option: Don't prompt for client
certificate selection
when no certificates or only one certificate exists, in order to let
my user normally access the web site.

My problem is that after few login of different users to the same
station the dialog box of certificate selection keeps coming back with
the names of random users which access the station (not all the
users).
If i try to delete all the profiles on the station the problem solved
but it creates a different problem is that the user need to wait the
next login until windows built all the folders and authenticate him (I
don't want to delete the profile)

Does anyone know why it happen and can I fix it?

.
