what is the recommended password audit tool to be used in corporate
environment - on win2k or win2k3 domain controller?
This should NOT show the actual password but mention length and also comment
on strength.
Please try Proactive Password Auditor (PPA) software:

The comments on password strength are troublesome, though -- what are your
creiterias? However, PPA shows the time it spends to break the particular
password. The (recovered) passwords can be shown or hidden, depending on
options you set.
