When on the client if you do a
ping -a <f&p server name>
do you get the correct IP displayed ?
If so and resolution is working, then is the
firewall turned on on the F&P server, does
it allow F&P exemption scoped to IPs of
the client systems? etc.

I have a 2003 file and print server in my domain environment which is

member server and also i have a win2000 professional. Problem is when i am
trying to access win2000 machine from the 2003 file & print server i am
able
to access but, when i am trying to connect to the file and print server
from
the 2000 machine i used to get "network path not found"... FYI i am able
to
ping to the DNS Server....Please try to help me....
