Windows 2000 (ME)? Don't confuse Windows Millennium Edition (ME) with Windows 2000! The two are like night and day! Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP are all in the same family (NT family) and more or less they all have the same user and user group structure. For all intents and purposes as far as the matter at hand is concerned these operating systems are the same.

John...thanks for the reply. We are using 2000 (ME) not NT. Do the user groups work the same in both?

As far as I know it isn't possible to delete the built-in Administrator account. Probably you changed the password to it or you disabled it. This might help: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

If someone could help me with this I would be forever grateful! How can you get into windows 2000 (stand alone) after you have deleted all of the users that were loaded including the administrator. There used to be two users set up on the PC, but we no longer needed them. I just wanted the PC to go back to opening straight into windows with no prompting for a username or password. Any help is greatly appreciated.
