As far as I know it isn't possible to delete the built-in Administrator
account. Probably you changed the password to it or you disabled it.

Re: Lost Admin PW in XP home ... people at work told me this was due to my d/lding normal XP updates.... Simply going to Windows Update and patching .Net would have taken care of that for you. ... Re: Windows XP created its own passwords?? ... corrupt file and it said to run scan disk.... I NEVER created passwords on the other profiles!... hitting 'enter' without a password won't let me through to Windows.... Log in to the built-in Administrator Account and re-set the ...
