Use lusrmgr.msc to check their user account properties to make sure that
"user can not change password" is not selected. --- Steve

I have a W2K standalone. I have created a new account that is set up
for the user to change their password when they log on. When the new
user tries to logon it says they have to change their password
(normal). then when they put the new password in a box pops up saying
that they do not have permission to change their password. This
happens even if the new user has full admin rights. This same problem
has actually happened on 4 laptops. Could someone PLEASE help, it's
driving me crazy.
