Re: Account lockout and I don't know why..

Computers do not get locked out like that, rather user accounts
get locked and when domain account they are refused login at
any domain machine.
Someone may just be trying to guess your (and others') password(s).
Do you have auditing enabled that would cause these to event ?

MS has an account lockout toolset

I have a 2win2k domain with two DC's. For some reason that I can not find I
have a few workstations in the past few days that have been locked out.
Even
my own even though no logins were taking place. I don't haev any services
on
my machine that log in wtih my account so I am kind of at a loss.. None of
the Security logs on the DC's show any problems. Is there some sort of
logging i can turn on to see what is going on or anything? I downloaded
some
of the lockout tools from MSFt but they don't seem to tell me to much..
Could
anyone offer any ideas on how to try to figure out what is going on.? Is
there Kerbos logging I should be turning on or something. (All Clients are
XP
Pro)

Thanks in advance

Jeff
