Hi,
I cannot browse www.microsoft.com and most of its sub links
If I try 'ping www.microsoft.com', it returns
Pinging www.microsoft.com [127.0.0.1] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 127.0.0.1: bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=128
Ping statistics for 127.0.0.1:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms
My system is installed with Windows 2000 Professional with SP4 rollup 1, and
also IIS is installed. While IIS service is running, if I try to browse
www.microsoft.com, it asks for username and password. The IE address bar
automatically change the website name to
http://www.microsoft.com/localstart.asp. If stop the IIS website and ftp
service, it shows page cannot be displayed. How can I overcome this issue?
I cannot browse most of the Microsoft sites. In some pages, it shows asp.net
2.0 framework's requested resource not found error message.
