Do you mean you have a problem restoring sysvol or you have no System State
backup? If you have no System State Backup then you are probably in a bad
way but you still should post in the Active_directory newsgroup as someone
there may be able to help as there are more tan a few procedures for trying
to rebuild or restore sysvol. A second domain controller would help
immensely in such situations. --- Steve

HI

I have try to implement DC on my PC with WIN 2000 Server operating system
and now after some time there was a power disturbance because of this it
is
showing error regarding directory service and getting restarted at time
of
when it is loading personal setting and preparing network connection and
give
warning to start it in directory service restore mode and when we start it
in
directory service mode then we have no backup of SYSVOL folder so it is
not
repairing IS THERE ANY SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM ???
