I'm creating a folder and sharing it in an Installshield app run on an 2000
box which is member of a domain (user-level security). I need to change the
share permissions in code after sharing the folder to make it read only from
the network. AddShareNet (structure type 2) ignores the permissions
parameter when used in user-level security mode.

Therefore when trying to access the share on computer A it is looking for a username and password to be supplied which is the username and password that you used to log on to computer B with which it does not find in its permissions list and therefore denies access. ...
