The netstat command has output that is a little difficult for the
average real-world person to make full sense from.
You might find the free download from www.sysinternals.com
named TcpView to be of more use.

Hello,
the problem i have is that my computer is running slower than before when
using the internet. i have virus checked and checked for spyware but have
found nothing. i have a good firewall too.
it could be that my connection is crap. but it also could be that someone
is
using part of my internet connection and thus making it slower for me.
basically, my question is: a while back, someone told me that if you go
into
"Command Prompt" and type a certain thing, when you press ENTER it will
then
display a list of things that are using your internet connection, and so
if
it's only yourself it will list only 1 or 2 items, whereas someone with
viruses will have a long list of different ISP's using my connection.
so do you know what it is that i should type into Command Prompt for this
to
appear? I just can't remember.
Thankyou very much
.
