Hi Victory,
1. Check this page. See whether your Automatic Updates client is the SUS
client or the WSUS client.
2. If you go to this page,
http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en
and when it checks for an updated version of Windows Update, does it prompt
you anything?
3. And if you continue updating, what does it prompt you?
4. Also check your event viewer to see if there is any related warning or
error.
5. Start IE, click on Tools, Internet Options, click Settings button, View
Objects button. You will end up with the Downloaded Program Files folder.
One might be WUWebControl Class. What is the size, creation date, and
version? What if you delete it and try step 2 again?
br,
Denis
