I noticed that the Win2k version of this security patch includes an older of
scesrv.dll (.6903, 3-24-04) and not the more recent and important version in
KB 833281 (.6923, 4-9-04). This newer build makes a huge difference in the
size of your backups if you use GPO's to set NTFS permissions.
Does anyone at MS have a reason why they would not use the newer build that
is over a year old? Currently, I now have to install the new patch, then the
old patch to get the right build on new installs.
