IE security setting

hi!

We're having some problems accessing our corporate intranet's drop down menu.
>From my workstation, the drop down menu option appeared to be a box with a
cross. Some of the workstation are able to see the menu and some are not. Any
idea?

I'm using SUS for our network, but after using it. Most of the clients are
not able to play VCD, movie file with media player? any idea?
