Thanks Steven.
> I am not sure where you are trying to disconnect
In the 'connection status' dialog I hit 'disable' and it results in the
'can not disconnect' error message.

I could do that, but it requires a reboot which is: a) too much hassle and
b) a work-a-round which doesn't sort the problem out.

4 possibilities:
a) "QoS RSVP has failed to find any interfaces with traffic control
enabled. Install QoS traffic control services via network and dial-up
connections."
b) "The server service was unable to recreate the share SYSVOL because the
directory C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol no longer exists."
c) "The server service was unable to recreate the share NETLOGON because
the directory C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol\STAN.NET\SCRIPTS no longer exists."
d) This one is repeated about 30 times.
"Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server. The server is:
{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
The user is Unavailable/Unavailable, SID=Unavailable."
I don't know what the relevance of these are.
Thanks and regards,
..matthew
