Hi Kathy,
At the logon screen check that the "Log on to" box
displays the name the computer belongs to with "this
computer" in brackets i.e Dscott123(this computer). The
Log on to box is probably displaying the Domain name which
you are not plugged into. Use the username and password
that was assigned to the computer when windows was first
installed in order to log on in the computer.
