hi everybody,

i get the following error when trying to login with a smart
card on windows 2000 server:

"Error: invalid handle".
there are no error number or other information included.

here is what i'm trying to do:
to integrate a third party certificate into windows server,
and be able to login with a smart card.
i've already integrated the third party certification path.

i found in the microsoft documentation "troubleshooting
pki" that this message means a server-side,
domain-controller error. but the proposed solution, to
reboot the controller, was not helpful.

Does anybody has anymore information about the type of
error that could produce this output?
thanks.

Ethan
