Hi,
I have problems executing scheduled taks on Windows 2000
server (with Service Pack 4.0, IIS 5.0). When I run the
scheduled task the status becomes 'RUNNING' but nothing
happens. The log file is not helpful since it can't log
anything since nothing happens on the process.
I used an administrator's account on that machine (and I
also passed the password when specifying the account) and
it's being used for a long time and has the proper
priviliges and permissions. Even a taks that opens up a
calculator or notepad won't work on the web server but
works fine on my local machine.
And this problem only occurs with new scheduled task, old
tasks using the same account works fine. The only
consistent thing that happened on all the webservers that
experience this problem is getting all the windows updates
and critical updates.
If anyone has experience the same problem or has any idea
of what the problem might be, please reply back.
Thanks,
YGL
