I have inherited a pretty good PC from my late
Grandfather, however, I dont have the password to get
past the Win 2000 log on screen. Can I install XP again
so that it wipes out everything and I can start afresh. I
am not all that computer literate, and anything requiring
too much knowledge would probably endandanger the other
occupants of my house, causing an unnessecary fire
hazard. I have managed in the past to reinstall other
operating systems ie Win 98 when I then used the recovery
discs Etc. Please can anyone tell me if it can be done,
even if it means replacing parts.
Yours Anticipatingly
Ian.S
