We have a windows2003 server doing DHCP for our system, and among our
other servers we have a windows2000 member server in the same domain.
This server has a fixed IP address asssigned directly to it, not via a
reservation. This runs IIS for an internal purpose and not for an
    external website.

For the second time we have found a large number of IP addresses
assigned to it in the DHCP scope (in this case 10 of them) - each of
which has the 'client using dial-up network connection through a remote
access server' icon next to it. This happened at around 7pm on Sunday
    when the site is closed.

The server is on the same subnet as the DHCP server and they communicate
directly on the LAN, so the server does not use dial-up networking :-)

Is there anything which might explain this?
