Make sure you are pinging the right addresses as shown by the IP addresses issued in
the VPN connection in status details. The IP addresses shown for client and server
need to be different. Also check there is no firewall, ipsec filtering, or Remote
Access policy IP filtering blocking ICMP access to those addresses. Tracert can also
be helpful in showing where there is a bottleneck in a routed connection. --- Steve
