W2000 network password

I was trying to set up a new network connection. When
asked for a password I did not enter anything, as I did
not want a password.

I cannot start up 2000 now, as when it starts to fire up
the W2000 it asks for a network password, which of course
I did not create: pressing enter without entering
anything in the password box says the password is
incorrect.

I cannot fire up the operating system beyond the network
password request.

Is there any way to delete that network account without
firing up W2000?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Replies to bmwbiker at aol.com would be most helpful: TIA.
