Uninstalled Norton -- cannot reboot computer HELP!!

    Today I uninstalled Norton SystemWorks. Downloaded McAfee Int. Security Suite 6. Rebooted computer. Get a blue
    screen with error: STOP 0x0000007B -- INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE. So I reboot about 8 times. Tried safe mode, tried
    last known good config., tried emergency repair, tried emergency reboot disk (or whatever you call it). Nothing works.
    Always comes up to blue screen with error. Contacted McAfee. They say it is leftover files of Norton that were not
    deleted that are causing the error. Emailed Symantec. Will hear from them (so they say) in 4 to 5 working days! In the meantime I can't do anything.

    Does anyone know anything to help me reboot and get back work?

    I would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance...........Susan
