I am using windows 2000 on a local machine. I haven't
used the machine in sometime and can't remember the
password.
I tried to change the boot sequence to re-install Windows
2000 from the CD. The system will not boot from CD drive
is there anyway of reinstalling windows 2000 from the CD?
The BIOS boot sequence is CD, A drive, C drive.
It attempts to boot from the CD but results in ERROR 4.
I believe I saw an article a few months ago to copy a few
files from another machine with Windows 2000 op sys. Which
would activate the CD drive from the A drive ???
Any help greatly appreciated.
