Windows 2k.
I am experiencing the dreded "service.exe" 100% CPU utilization about twice daily.
I have loaded SP4 several times with no improvement.
I have watched on task manager several times the lenght of time for services.exe to release my memory and is about 40 to 80 seconds.
Discussions with various techies suggest that perhaps a have a broken link in my registry.
Just want to get it identified and fixed.
I have reloaded 2k and installed the 2k fix to no avail.
I have three other PC's with no problems.
I am running a RAID card for data and operating system on a stand alone HD.
HELP
