Are you having problems while logged on as a local administrator? Some of the things
you mention such as cd burning or creating printers often require an administrator to
be logged on. The \winnt folder does not allow regular users to write to it in a
default installation. If you have changed a lot of permissions/security settings on
your computer you may want to see the KB link below on how to restore security
settings to default defined levels. --- Steve
