Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB832894)

   when i check the microsoft website for critical
updates, i am told that "cumulative securitry opdate for
internet explorer 6 service pack 1 (kb832894)is
recommended as a 'critical update'...

   i then downloaded the patch and discovered that i had
already downloaded and installed the same patch last
month..

    now, every time i check for critical updates, i am
always told that this same update is recommended....

    can someone help me to resolve this strange behavior?
