Could try Locksmith from WinInternals. I think they've melded Locksmith
into their other products. Probably not a cheap product.
For this computer, was W2K Pro pre-installed as part of the hardware
purchase? That is, did you just buy a new computer and it came with W2K?
If so, tried using a blank password yet? Otherwise, contact the seller
since they are not allowed to keep your property hostage. If they refuse to
provide the password then the sale is violated since apparently the install
of W2K was supposed to be included and obviously since you are the buyer
then there is the expectation that the buyer gets to use what they bought.
You could do a fresh install using the W2K install media provided in the
sale of the computer. That's means you start from scratch.
