Possibly, if you have modified them quite a bit from default - particulry if
you are requiring digitally signed commnications for both server/client and
maybe if you have additional restrictions for anonymous access set to no
access without explicit anonymous connections, but I would first check that
file and print sharing and Microsoft Client for networks is installed and
enabled on each computer, that netbios over tcp/ip is enabled, and that any
personal firewalls [including the built in one in XP] is either disabled or
configured to allow lan traffic. However do not disable any firewall unles
you have other firewall protection from the internet such as a cable/dsl
