See the KB link below for a list of things to check or try. Usually the first thing
to try is that your computer date, time zone, and time are correct. If nothing
works, consider doing an upgrade installation of W2K which would require your install
cdrom with the product key number. If you go that route, be sure to be using a
firewall before reconnecting to the internet and then go to Windows Update to
reinstall service pack and critical updates which will be removed for an upgrade
install, though your data and applications should still be intact and work fine. ---
