Large Amounts of Data be Uploaded

I agree this sounds like blaster virus. I had it and also
got the SVCHOST.exe error. In addition to killing the
virus and upgrading your Norton Virus definitions you may
also need to install a firewall (if running windows 2000)
because even though blaster won't be able to infect your
computer once you're protected it can continue to try to
attack and slow down your computer.
